We've just changed our aims and found a new inspiration for existing. However, this change will be slow and perhaps a little bit cumbersome at first. Please bear with us.

What exactly is our new focus? Writing prompts and resources. It is our hope that talented people on this site will rise up contribute helpful articles and tutorials for all of the struggling beginners and for those who are interested in perfecting their work.

We are about helping you as a writer, to find the resources you need and helpful tips on how to develop your work while also offering fun prompts to get you started thinking about all aspects of the writing process.

You probably won't find anyone in it at the moment (we don't have the time to keep it up and running just yet), but Clom Fliday is a new prose critiquing chatroom.

How do I become a member of *clom-fliday?

Actually, we don't have any members. That's because we're not a "club" in the traditional sense of the word. We will function as a library of helpful resources with our gallery based on the generous contributions of very smart and talented people who are willing to help others write better.

However, we are looking for contributors and people who are interested in becoming staff members. If you like what we're about and are willing to become help with the running of this community, please send a note to *jamberry-song. If you want to draw our attention to a deviation you'd like to "contribute" to us, send us a note with a link to your deviation. We will then add it to our appropriate favourites collection.

To Request an Article About a Specific Thing or Set of Things

Say you're having trouble trying to come up with character gestures or describing an emotion without lapsing into cliches, but you just can't find an article to help you with your problem. Simple! Just send us a note with your request in it! We will be compiling a list of requested articles for contributors who want to help out with this.
